Learning at the Harbour

Harbour International is a learning community for all.
Children
At Harbour, we understand that all children are unique, especially as they come to us from many different educational backgrounds and experiences from all over the world. Teachers ensure that the curriculum is adapted and tailored to each individual child’s needs to ensure they make the best progress they can.
Teachers
Teacher learning is important too! All our teachers are part of learning communities where they review and develop their practice and many attend training all over Europe to ensure they are up to date on current teaching methods and approaches.
Parents
Through the PSG, we organise a variety of learning opportunities to help parents settle into their new community. English lessons for parents take place weekly in school. We also host a range of coffee and conversation mornings that focus on different topics (based on our parents feedback and wishes). Examples of previous topics addressed range from healthy eating to advice on helping children cope with change and moving. Participation of parents in school life is very much encouraged and parents can join our PSG (Parent Support Group) or/and can volunteer in our library.
